VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES
Board Member:
Board members serve as volunteer leaders who provide governance, strategic guidance, and oversight to support the mission and long-term sustainability of the rescue. Board members act in the best interest of the organization and help ensure ethical, responsible, and compliant operations.
Adoptions Team:
Our Adoptions team helps process all incoming applications that are submitted to Woof. The team conducts vet reference checks and phone interviews. Adoptions team will assist in meet coordination as well as process adoptions, including helping to plan & organize adoption events, including scheduling logistics, volunteer coordination, and on site-support. The adoptions team is a vital part of our organization and is always looking for more help!
Foster Team:
Our Foster team helps process all incoming applications that are submitted to Woof. The team conducts vet reference checks and phone interviews. The foster team assists in overseeing placement, support & management of foster homes and foster dogs to ensure the safety, welfare and successful adoption of all animals in our rescue's care. Ensure foster homes are adequately supplied with food, crates, leashes, medication and other essential items are needed for the care of foster animals. The Foster team is a vital part of our organization and is always looking for more help!
Medical Team:
Our medical team oversees all of our foster dog's medical care and needs. They are responsible for making sure each and every dog is given
the proper care and treatment they need before they can be adopted to their furever homes.
Social Media:
Our social media Team helps us spread awareness about rescuing. They help us show off the dogs who just arrive, the ones who are available for adoption, and show all of our supporters the Happily Ever After stories. We also love sharing funny stories, or other interesting or helpful pet related info on our social media pages.
Events:
Woof loves hosting events to help show off our dogs who are available for adoption and raise awareness about rescue dogs. Having the support of our volunteers at events help make it possible for us to continue saving dogs. Help is always needed for dog handlers, and to spread the good word about Woof! New ideas for hosting events make it possible for us to continue doing what we do.

Volunteers must be 18 years of age or older. Volunteers under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. The volunteer application includes a waiver that must be signed by both the minor and parent or legal guardian.
